Looks like 2.0 was just released. (Go to the home site to get the new version.) Only a couple bug fixes, but they seriously beefed up the countdown timer. It can now play user selected waves for an alert and it remembers it's settings.
Also added a "wake up" feature so that if you're running the countdown timer and your device suspends, it will come back to life to alert you when the countdown completes.
Oh yeah, installation and removal is a snap now that it's in a .cab installer.
The button controls aren't pretty, but they're large enough that you can work it with your thumb.
Large buttons, easy install/removal, user selectable alerts, wakes up at countdown end, countdown values can take any number of hours mins or secs (not just 1-60)
Worst:Not pretty, countdown fields (hour, min, sec) require keyboard entry instead of drop down
